Professional Mentoring

Continuing Care Services staff participate in the education of health professionals. Our physicians mentor Residents in Internal Medicine and Family Practice, as well as Fellows in Geriatric Medicine. Our other providers mentor Social Work Interns, Gerontology students, RN students and Nurse Practitioner students.

Community Education

The Continuing Care Services staff participate in a number of educational programs for the medical community and the general public. One example is the Nursing Home Symposium that is organized by the Continuing Care Services staff. This seminar addresses issues of concern and interest to those involved in nursing home care.
